Lords of the West Kingdom is set in a time when the king’s power is waning. The once bold king prefers peace to prosperity. He offers his enemies gold and land in exchange for laying down their arms. But this peace is fragile. As poverty continues to grow, many people lose faith in the king and turn away from the monarchy. Everyone depends on the king and the future is uncertain. The lords must be wise and decisive. They must appear loyal, but the favour of the populace is a top priority in case of a change of power.

Burggraves of the Western Kingdom is a worker-placement game where you travel through the kingdom to increase your influence in its various regions. Earn victory points by constructing buildings and writing manuscripts. Burggraves of the Western Kingdom is the third part in the ‘Western Kingdom’ trilogy.
