In Future Energy you dismantle outdated power plants (coal, mineral oils, gas) and nuclear power plants across various European countries and replace them with modern, green power plants (wind, solar, hydrogen and fusion energy). For each old power plant you close, you receive benefits that help you optimize and expand your grid. Plan carefully and earn CO2 certificates and money to improve your network and position in Europe.
During the game you will need to invest in power cables to create connections between green power plants. Owning power cable connections is useful when you move the construction crew to a new location. If other players want to use your power cable connection, they must pay money. The goal is to build the most efficient network possible across the different regions on the game board. The actions on the action tiles can be very helpful. The player with the most points wins the game. Future Energy includes 3 extra modules for even more gameplay fun!
